Questo progetto prende le mosse dal duo SABA di Lali Ayguadé, coreografo e ballerino, ma Dis-connect è un solo di danza focalizzato sulla traiettoria e sul viaggio emotivo, su ciò che il personaggio attraversa in maniera profonda.

Un uomo perso e fragile. Ha perduto la nozione di tempo e anche il controllo del proprio corpo, non sapendo più chi controlla cosa. La mente controlla il corpo o il corpo controlla la mente. Ma dove si colloca l’anima in tutto questo?

Ogni essere umano può trovarsi in una certa situazione di lotta interiore, in cui combatte contro se stesso per evadere il rischio del fallimento nell’abisso della paura e della desolazione, proprio per questo ciascuno di noi in certi momenti di incertezza della propria vita può scegliere se accettare una scelta o una decisione e prendere il controllo o lasciarsi prendere solamente dai propri pensieri negativi, dove l’amore non ha voce in capitolo.

While this project is inspired by ​​the duo SABA by Lali Ayguadé, choreographer and dancer, this solo performance focuses on trajectory and the emotional journey, and on what the character experiences in a profound way.

A human being lost and fragile. He has lost the notion of time, and the control over his body, not knowing who controls what. Is it the mind that controls the body or viceversa. Where is the soul in all this?

Every human being may, at some point, find himself in an internal struggle where he wars against himself to avoid the risk of failure, in the depth of fear and desolation. That is why each and every one of us, in a moment of uncertainty, can choose whether to accept a choice or a decision, and take control, or give leeway to negative thoughts where love has no voice or vote.
